We are a presumptuous society. We know less than 5% of the world's history and what we don't know we often make outrageous assumptions about. We're not all that different than 'them' and 'they' were not all that primitive.

I recently read a quote whose author I don't recall but it went something like this: We and they are US. There was more to it but it sure put a different perspective on the us/them "war." I truly enjoy this blog.
